First Love with Espresso & Milk in Seattle; Slate Coffee Roasters

“Because you deserve a good cup of coffee”

Maybe that is my story how I started drinking coffee again and discovering new coffee spots in Seattle; With Slate Coffee Roasters . I was very lucky because their Ballard location was 10 minutes away by walking from our home. And one day, my beautiful man brought a latte sorry with their saying “espresso&milk” from Slate with an excited, inspired face. He even got a coffee for himself – he is not coffee drinker at all- because he was very impressed with the coffee shop. He was impressed by simplicity and authenticity of Slate.

We were very excited for finding a coffee shop like that and this place inspired us in many different ways. Besides, knowing that it’s own by a woman even makes me more proud and happy.

I love their strong foundation of choices in terms of options in their menu and believing that it would work for coffee lovers especially after spoiled for so many options of milk alternatives, sweeteners, blended drinks, so on in Seattle. I was very happy to find Slate and Slate is a place that it is confident with the coffee they serve and just simple you know.

More important they serve organic milk. No non fat milks people, or no hemp milks or irish cream, sorry, only couple sweeteners, real chocolate for mochas, no drip coffees and five time refill, instead one time real pour over and you have to wait for it, no real rushing. I love the no rushing part, because I am ok to wait for my coffee instead of getting it done in very fast pace, then espresso sucks, milk is burnt.

If it is your first time in Seattle or you want to experience a gourmet coffee, come Slate Roasters, especially Ballard location. You would enjoy your time and coffee in this tiny coffee shop. That’s how I spoil my self for weekends or any day! Worst scenario, order online and enjoy the coffee at home! https://slatecoffee.com/
